Headed by Regional LRMDS Supervisor Dr. Melanie P. Estacio, the Region XI LRMDS Team has conducted the ‘2-Day Strategic Planning Conference of LR Evaluators, Managers, CLMD EPS and LRMDS Staff’ last July 9 – 10, 2016 at De Leonor Inland Resort, Communal, Davao City.

 

     The conference is aimed to set targets and design strategic actions on how to operationalize the expected deliverables of Learning Resources Management Development Centers (LRMDC) in the Region and Division Offices.

       The said activity aims to get LR updates from each division and design strategic plans on enhancing LRMDC Operations in the Region and Division. The Division of Davao Oriental has sent four personnel from the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) namely: Susan N. Salazar , LRMDS Manager; Nancy P. Sumagaysay, LR Evaluator; Amelita P. De Mira, to represent the Librarian; and Michael Angelo S. Pesado, Project Development Officer II – LRMDS.

        Each division has presented on the first day the LRMDC Status and Learning Resources Development Plan. The second day was devoted to planning of activities for the Regional Workshop on Quality Assurance of Teacher-Developed Learning Materials.

 

      Our division has listed the following as its prioritized goals: Development of Grade 6 Localized LRs, Addition of Pool of Writers and Evaluators, Reproduction of Grades 5 and 11 Activity Sheets, Creation of Localized E-Lesson Plan, and Establishment of LR Local Portal.
